First We Build a Trusting Relationship... Then We Move Forward Together
I have learned that a trusting, accepting rapport is absolutely essential between my clients and I. I build this over time using a warm, friendly approach and proven therapeutic strategies.
Teenagers appreciate and deserve a mature approach. My work is based entirely upon open lines of communication, mutual respect, and unconditional support. I am there for your teen no matter what they share or how they are feeling, ensuring complete confidentiality, empathy and non-judgemental.
A Structured, Scientific Approach to Healing
Our modern world is complex, pressurised, and ever-changing. To help your teen navigate their own path, I predominantly practice Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) and a one-to-one version of Dialectical Behaviour Therapy (DBT).
These are wonderfully effective, evidence-based therapies that focus on emotions, thoughts, and behaviours. Together, we build life-long skills so your child can look toward a rewarding, positive future and manage the inevitable ups and downs ahead. While some sessions are highly structured and planned, others are dynamically adapted to handle whatever challenges occurred that week.
Expertise You Can Trust
My first-class Degree in Education specialised in Special Educational Needs (SEN) and child mental health has given me a valuable, deep understanding of child development. I continuously expand my knowledge with advanced diplomas and certifications, particularly around teenage development. I always strive to gather the best current scientific and therapeutic insights to provide the highest standard of therapeutic support for my clients. Please scroll down for areas of support.
*** Why Online Therapy Works Best for Teens ***
The truth is, for teenagers, online coaching is often far more successful. Here's why...
* The "Safe Space" Advantage: In-person offices can feel clinical, intimidating, or like a trip to the doctor. Online coaching allows your teen to log in from their own bedroom, sitting on their own bed, surrounded by their comforts.
* Lowered Social Anxiety: Sitting directly across from an adult and maintaining eye contact can feel confrontational. Computer screens provide a comfortable, natural barrier that reduces pressure, making them feel more in control .
* Seamlessly Fits Into Their World: Teens are native to the digital landscape.
* No Travel Stress or Time Waste: There is no rushing from school or college, battling traffic, or sitting in waiting rooms.
* Consistency Wherever They Are: Wherever they are, their support system remains completely uninterrupted

Depression, fear, and anxiety are some of the most common and uncomfortable emotions that we can experience in our lives. Through educating my clients about their brains and teaching life-long strategies to support self-worth, confidence and esteem, we are able to recover motivation, perspective, and the joy of life that we all deserve to feel.

School can come with a variety of emotions, many positive, but sadly many not so good. Anxiety and fear of school, for whatever reason, can have a huge impact on the wellbeing of your child or teenager. I can support your child in discussing the reasons behind these fears. We can then use well-researched strategies to
challenge the fears and take control.

We are all uniquely different. Too often this is seen as a negative and leaves us feeling misunderstood, unsupported and not good enough.
I prefer to celebrate differences in everyone, focusing on building self awareness and understanding of our wonderful traits.
I support clients and families in recognising their strengths, accepting themselves and learning how navigate life their own way.

I support children and families who may be experiencing challenges in the family home, in blended family homes, with separation, divorce, anger, arguments or anything else that may be making your family life a struggle. We can work it out together.

Whether its the loss of a loved one, idol or beloved pet, grief can feel impossible to navigate. The sudden absence of a special person can cause distressing feelings of grief abandonment and make us question everything.
I support my clients in acknowledging, understanding and accepting the big 'loss' emotions, guiding them through the process of securely moving forward.

We live in an extremely diverse and openminded country regarding sexuality, yet it can still feel impossible to fully accept oneself, feel accepted by others or feel you have found your true place in the world.
I can offer my undivided support in navigating my clients journey, offering both cognitive and practical insights into being authentically and proudly yourself!
